Management:

Jon Brod – President and Chief Operating Officer

Jon brings over 15 years of Internet and Sports executive experience to Polar both at the start-up and corporate levels.  Jon was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Portals Division of InterActiveCorp (IAC). Prior to IAC, Jon served as a Senior Vice President and member of the Executive Committee at Ask Jeeves as well as the first employee and Chief Operating Officer of Interactive Search Holdings, which was purchased by Ask Jeeves in 2004.

Jon's Sports tenure includes six years at the National Basketball Association where he held various marketing and operations positions and where he established NBA Canada and launched the Raptors and Grizzlies expansion franchises.  Jon was also the Chief Operating Officer of the United Football League.  Jon graduated, cum laude, from Bowdoin College.

Donald Armstrong, CFA – Chief Strategy and Investment Officer

Donald combines over 10 years in Finance and Investing with Internet media experience.  Most recently, Donald has been the acting CFO for a number of high-growth Internet start-ups as well as the Managing Director of Greenwich Investing Group.  Prior to this, Donald was a securities analyst at Boston Trust & Investment Management and a financial analyst and product developer at United Asset Management. Donald began his financial services career at State Street Corporation and Fidelity Investments.  

Donald received a BA and MBA from Boston College and in 2004 earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
